Applications open for new cohort of regional officers
Reporting the general election
Six thousand pounds is up for grabs this summer, in an exclusive competition for SPA members.
The Student Publication Association has teamed up with Brighton Journalist Works to offer three members scholarships of up to £3,000 on a NCTJ Journalism Diploma short-course.
Three students will receive eye-watering discounts on their fees, with the first place student bagging an impressive £3,000 off their tuition.
Those landing the second and third places spots will also be quids in – they’ll get £2,000 and £1,000 of their bills respectively.
What’s more, there’s no lengthy application process either – all we’re asking is a 500 word piece about who or what inspires you to be a journalist.
Aubrey Allegretti, Digital Media Officer, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for SPA members to take the next step in their journalism career.
“We’re really thrilled to be able to offer something of such value to our members and hope they take advantage of this opportunity.”
Entries close at midnight on 19 June 2015. For more details and to apply visit the Brighton Journalist Works website.
