#SPANC16 Award Winners Announced
Protect SU Democracy, Protect Election Coverage – Motion 314
There’s STILL no party like an SPA party…
In this #FlashFriday, we take a look at the very best coverage of the very best student media conference this year.
Concrete, UEA
Another year… another brilliant effort by Concrete. This year’s winners of Best Publication have pulled out all the stops with their coverage of #SPANC16, treating us to a beautiful wrap showcasing why they reallyare the very best!
They even published an online article just as a cherry on the top 🙂
Be sure to visit their website to view all their coverage, and take a peek at some of the amazing work they do!
London Student, London
London Student also came up some excellent coverage of their amazing three wins on the night – for Best Newcomer, Best Design, and Best Reporter.
The article also looks at the feedback from judge, Brenda Wong, and includes a summary of the events from the night, as well as showcasing some highlights from the night.
Epigram, Bristol
Epigram, not to be out-matched, have produced a highly comprehensive review of the awards evening, complete with a full-list of winners, as well as pictures and reactions from the night.
Exeposé, Exeter
A masterclass in promoting your other content came from Exeposé, who included links to the various digital media which won them the accolade for Best Use of Digital Media at #SPANC16.
Voxburner
#SPANC16 Speaker and Awards Judge, Brenda Wong of Voxburner, has very generously uploaded her presentation online for those who missed any of it.
There is also a really interesting article on Voxburner about Brenda’s time at SPANC, which is well worth a read for its brilliant use of digital media alone. And we just love her y’know.
