Following the successful election of the new Student Publication Association committee, applications have now opened for regional officers.

Students, recent graduates and staff members working directly with student media are now invited to apply for eight regional positions.

Newly elected Chair of the SPA Jem Collins said she ‘delighted’ to start the search for this year’s team.

“The regional officer scheme has been a massive success since it was introduced by last year’s committee and I’m really looking forward to seeing more and more people get involved.

She added: “Regional officers play a key part in engaging and supporting papers across the two countries, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the new ideas people bring to the table.

• London
• Northern England
• Wales
• Scotland
• Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland

Applications are open to any member of an SPA affiliated publication or individual members until 11:59pm on Friday May 1.
