We're pleased to bring you the first SPA workshop of the 2024/25 academic year, this time in partnership with News Associates

As part of our Student Journalism 101 series, this workshop will give a glimpse into life as a journalist with News Associates' interactive breaking news masterclass.

They'll get you covering a mock breaking news scenario, and everyone will get feedback on their work. It’ll be fast-paced and a lot of fun. You’ll also touch on media law, journalism ethics and shorthand!

We highly recommend this session for all student journalists, whether you're a fresh-faced writer or a returning reporter, so you can get to grips with the art of breaking the news.
