The SPA is thrilled to join forces with Impact Magazine to bring you our first regional conference of the awards cycle!

Tickets are £12 (or £11 if you're an Impact member) which covers food and drink costs.

Your ticket will not only get you access to the conference itself, but the Midlands Regional Awards too, so if you want a chance to collect your possible prize in-person, then come and join us for a full day of journalism talks, networking and more!

The day will begin at 10.30am and officially end at 5pm (although there will be people hanging around for more drinks and networking). It's taking place at the University of Nottingham Students' Union in the Portland Building.

Events will include a session on reporting disasters, broadcast journalism, local news and a keynote with Tony Roe, former political editor for BBC East Midlands Today.

The event is open to all Midlands-based SPA members and we'd love it if as many of you as possible could come.
