Do you want to host the biggest and most diverse student media conference in the country?

If so, well do we have good news for you! 

The bidding process to host the Student Publication Association’s National Conference in 2019 is now open!

SPANC19 will be the biggest weekend in the SPA’s calendar. For three days, more than 150 student journalists from around the country and Ireland come together to network, hear from some fantastic speakers and take part in amazing workshops… oh, and it’s also where we hold our annual awards! Last year the awards had more than 20 awards and more than 1,000 entries, making it by far the biggest and best student journalism awards in the UK and Ireland.

We are desperate to get going and start planning it… And we want you to apply to host it!

Applicants must be members of the SPA to apply, but if you are not yet a member, you can register free here.

All interested publications are asked to produce a bid, which must be submitted as a PDF file to the SPA Executive at chair@spajournalism.com.

Below you can find our bidding information pack, as well as the DREAM exemplar bid which is the successful bid from Loughborough in 2015.
