The Executive Committee are pleased to announce the winners for the first ever North of England and Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland regional awards.

This year is the first year the SPA has organised regional awards and the committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who entered. The aim of this new addition to our organisation is to give a broader recognition to the very best of student journalism. We have always understood student journalism is as diverse as it is strong, and each publication has their own funding models and unique editorial set-up. We wanted these awards to recognise those who work the hardest throughout the year, but perhaps do not get that recognition on a national level at SPANC.
